Story
Rachel loved running and had signed up to run the Leeds Half Marathon in 2017. Having previously entered before, this would have been her third Leeds half marathon.
There are currently 33 runners, made up of Rachel's family, her school friends and the St Chad's community who are all running the Leeds Half Marathon in loving memory of Rachel. We are raising money for Winston's Wish, a charity who provide support for bereaved children across the UK.
We range from experienced runners to many who will be taking part in their first ever half marathon. Regardless of our ability, we are all determined to finish and raise money for this fantastic charity.

16th May 2017We did it!!!!!
All 33 runners successfully completed the half marathon on Sunday. Some achieved a personal best, but all did their best!! We appear to now be running converts, and many are already committed to running again next year

14th April 2017We would just like to update you on our fundraising progress. We have now raised 80% of our target and a whopping £4,249.75 in donations from 190 very kind supporters.
Not a day has gone by where we haven't had at least one donation and we would like to thank you all for your generosity, it means so much.
With just four and a half weeks to go until the big day, team Rachel have been racking up the miles around Leeds, The UK, Europe and beyond!
